A repair café workshop for the Lotus community hall: help our neighbors in Iloilo City
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a repair café workshop - we need $600 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Lotus community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $600.
It will serve about 570 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $600 goes:
• Materials: $480
• Permits and inspections: $15
• Safety equipment and signage: $65
• Tools hire and delivery: $40
