Keep the electricity and water on at Malak's home in Alexandria
Malak is behind on electricity and water bills after June's medical emergency and needs $100 to avoid a shut-off.

The electricity and water account is 4 months behind. Malak received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on August unless $100 is paid. She had never been late before June's medical emergency.
Malak called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $15 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a newborn, and going through the cold months without electricity and water isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
Malak is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
