Keep a roof over Kai's head in Riverside
A 10-day notice to quit arrived last week. Kai needs $3,900 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Riverside.

When the hotel closed in August, I fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Wednesday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $3,900.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by December, we must leave.
I have a toddler and a baby at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working extra hours at a market stall, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $3,900 goes:
• Rent arrears (2 months): $2,450
• Late fees and court costs: $195
• Utilities in arrears: $360
• First month of rent as a buffer: $895

Hang in there. Shared it with a few friends. Love from Lagos
Hope things get better soon. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Put this on a community board in Guadalupe this morning. God bless.
Sending love. Gave what I could, wish it was more. After 7 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
Hang in there, Kai. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Greetings from Magelang!
