Mobility fund: adapted tricycle for Gerald in Bristol
Help Gerald get an adapted tricycle so He can go outside without waiting for someone to push.
🇬🇧 England, United Kingdom966 views
Gerald lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at the Bristol Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $3,350.
His current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment Gerald could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $3,350 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $145
• adapted tricycle: $3,000
• First-year servicing plan: $205
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
