Kamol needs a lift to the Bangkok Kidney Centre - can you help one day a week?
Could you drive Kamol to the Bangkok Kidney Centre on Saturday? A rota of 3 drivers is forming.
🇹🇭 Bangkok, Bangkok, Thailand1,315 views
Kamol has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to the Bangkok Kidney Centre alone. After surgery on their hand, Kamol can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 15 km each way.
Kamol is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Sending strength, Kanya. Wishing Kamol a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.
You're not alone, Kanya. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. God bless.
