The Sycamore vacant lot needs a community fridge - Senthil's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community fridge - we need $600 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 15 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Sycamore vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $180, and the remaining cost is $600.
It will serve about 249 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $600 goes:
• Materials: $420
• Permits and inspections: $35
• Safety equipment and signage: $80
• Tools hire and delivery: $65
