Julia needs my food truck repaired to get back to work in Louisville
Without my food truck Julia cannot work; a $1,700 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my food truck. 6 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,700. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,700 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $1,200
• Towing and inspection: $175
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $325
