Joy was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in December. The oncology team at Wudil University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in March. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Joy is 28, worked as a construction supervisor until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Wudil University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Transport to Wudil University Hospital: $75
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $45
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,180
