After a herniated spinal disc, Shawn was cleared for gallbladder removal, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Shawn was diagnosed with a herniated spinal disc in August. The surgeon at Saint Elizabeth Hospital recommended gallbladder removal, and He is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $9,750, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $6,850 short.
my son has been in and out of Saint Elizabeth Hospital since August. The doctors say a herniated spinal disc will get worse without gallbladder removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $9,750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Shawn struggles with daily life and can't stand for more than ten minutes. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Shawn won't be able to stand for more than ten minutes, so the costs keep growing.
