Milo's kidney failure: help with the vet bill
Milo, Lemlem's rescue greyhound, needs urgent treatment for kidney failure costing $300.

Milo is my rescue greyhound of six years. On 13 August we rushed to Addis Ababa Animal Hospital with kidney failure. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $300.
They have stabilized Milo, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Milo is more than a pet - Milo got me through my hardest year. I have already put $50 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Addis Ababa Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $300 goes:
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $15
• Emergency surgery: $250
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $35

How is Lemlem doing now?
Hope things get better soon, Lemlem. I hope things turn around soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Addis Ababa.
