Ollie is my cat of nine years. On 26 August we rushed to Austin Animal Hospital with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $2,950. They have stabilized Ollie, but the treatment can't wait beyond December. Ollie is more than a pet - Ollie is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $160 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Austin Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
