After a house fire, I'm temporarily without a home. I work as a junior accountant in Çankaya and I have a steady income, but I can't find a place that will let me in without the first month, a deposit and references that I'm in the middle of replacing.
I'm looking for a spare room for 2 months. I can pay $50 a month toward bills, I'm tidy and quiet, and I'd be happy to help with cooking, shopping or yard work. I have no pets, I don't smoke, and I have a landlord and employer references.
I understand that inviting a stranger into your home is a big step. I'd be glad to meet in a public place first and to share my work details.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
- effort
- 2–4 months
- format
- In person in Çankaya
- skills
- a spare room, hospitality

Sending strength. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best.
your post was clear and honest. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Take care
wishing you the best, Yasemin. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Thinking of Çankaya.
Take care, Yasemin. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I'll check back for the next update. Take care!
Stay strong. I hope things turn around soon. I went through something like this 5 years ago and strangers helped me out.
