Josephine's final semester of a nursing degree in Hobart
A first-generation student, Josephine needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a nursing degree.

Josephine is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a nursing degree at Hobart Community College, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,350.
The registrar has said Josephine can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Josephine has a top-ten-percent average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Josephine would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Josephine isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
