Help Mykola move out of an unsafe apartment this Friday

A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in Kyiv.

After mold in the old building became a health issue for my child, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Kyiv, and the lease starts on Friday. I have a teenager and a toddler, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers. I'm hoping for 3-4 helpers for about three hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel. The old place is on the fourth floor walk-up and the new place has an elevator. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me. I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

rooting for you. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I'm in engineering myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Thinking of Kyiv

    • Sending strength, Mykola. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.

      • Sending strength. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. My neighbor in Istanbul donated after I showed her your page. Take care.
