Jordan's final semester of an accounting degree in Memphis

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an accounting degree at Memphis State College, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a barista to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $2,300.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.9 average, and my faculty supervisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Memphis State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $2,300 goes:
• Final term tuition: $1,650
• Textbooks and materials: $350
• Exam and lab fees: $300
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
