Jessica's thyroid cancer treatment fund

Jessica was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in May. The oncology team at Freiburg Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in August. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Jessica is 52, worked as a primary school teacher until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Freiburg Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $2,450 goes:
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $680
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,350
• Transport to Freiburg Cancer Centre: $420
