Jamal is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a law degree at Paris University, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $2,450.
The registrar has said Jamal can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Jamal has a 3.9 average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Jamal would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Jamal isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Paris University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
