Mental health support for Cristina after a difficult divorce
After a difficult divorce, Cristina has been on a waiting list for months - private therapy is the only option, and the cost is $2,000.
🇺🇸 Yonkers, New York, United States1,393 views
After a difficult divorce, Cristina has struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. The doctor has referred her to EMDR therapy, but the public waiting list is 11 months, and private sessions at Yonkers Wellbeing Centre cost $90 each.
Cristina has been honest with her employer and taken some time off, but can't keep going without support.
Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions Cristina could afford. The therapist recommends 20 weekly sessions, and consistent help will make the difference.
Asking for help with this has been the hardest part for Cristina, and we're grateful for your kindness without judgment.
The money will be paid directly to the counselor's practice, with a session-by-session record.
Where the $2,000 goes:
• 20 therapy sessions: $1,550
• Psychiatric assessment: $390
• Workbook and resources: $60
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
