Jakkrit received an eviction notice - help us catch up on rent
After a cut in working hours, Jakkrit is 3 months behind on rent and has a court summons for non-payment from the landlord.

When my hours were cut in half in November, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Wednesday a court summons for non-payment was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $900.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by February, we must leave.
I've 4 children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working weekend shifts, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $900 goes:
• Rent arrears (3 months): $670
• Utilities in arrears: $90
• First month of rent as a buffer: $140
I hope life is good to you.

Rooting for you. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't give up. God bless!
how is Jakkrit doing now?
So sorry you're going through this, Jakkrit. Shared this with my family. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Blessings.
Rooting for you, Jakkrit. I hope things turn around soon. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Birmingham.
I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Blessings!
