Isabel is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an agriculture degree at the Envigado Institute of Technology, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,400.
The registrar has said Isabel can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Isabel has a distinction average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Isabel would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Isabel isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $1,400 goes:
• Final term tuition: $990
• Exam and lab fees: $80
• Outstanding tuition balance: $330
With deep gratitude,
Camila

you're not alone, Camila. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Take care
