My son Yu has been accepted for treatment at San Francisco Children's Hospital in San Francisco, starting on Saturday in October. We live 403 km away in a town in the north, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 6 weeks. Two of us would stay: Yu and me. We can contribute $95 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Yu will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

  • Rooting for you, Jing. Shared it with a few friends. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.

    • sending strength. Shared it with a few friends. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.

      • sending strength, Jing. This could happen to any of us. I have a 8 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Blessings.

        • Take care. Hope this works out for you. Please keep us posted. All the best.
