Hossain was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in November. The oncology team at the Savar Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in February. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Hossain is 24, worked as a construction supervisor until November, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Savar Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
