Home care fund for Popy in Jabalpur
Popy, 81, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $800 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 81. After a fall and hip fracture Popy can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Popy desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Popy worked all of her life as a schoolteacher, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.

• Part-time carer (four months): $560
• Medication and prescriptions: $120
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $65
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $55
