Hiwot needs a lift to Bahir Dar General Hospital - can you help one day a week?
Hiwot needs dialysis three times a week and has lost the ability to drive; volunteer drivers can each take one day.

Hiwot has been on dialysis for 1 years and until recently drove to Bahir Dar General Hospital alone. After surgery on their hand, Hiwot can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 26 km each way.
Hiwot is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
