A community fridge for Unity Park: help our neighbors in Mobile
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community fridge - we need $3,950 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 27 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Unity Park, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $3,950.
It will serve about 342 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $3,950 goes:
• Materials: $2,900

• Safety equipment and signage: $210
• Tools hire and delivery: $410

what exactly is the $3,950 for?
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. materials comes first ($2,900) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. It helps to be asked.
