Shinjuku
Yuki was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in November. The oncology team at the Shinjuku Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in January. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Yuki is 29, worked as a bus conductor until November, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Shinjuku Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $3,550 goes: • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $550 • Household costs while unable to work: $1,950 • Transport to the Shinjuku Oncology Institute: $540 • Scans and lab work: $510 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people. - Yuto
