Yasir was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in July. The oncology team at the Gujranwala Oncology Institute has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Yasir is 50, worked as a construction supervisor until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Gujranwala Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Transport to the Gujranwala Oncology Institute: $135
• Scans and lab work: $130
• Household costs while unable to work: $135
