Tiruchirappalli
For fifteen years I have run a small grocery stall in Tiruchirappalli. In May, a long illness and repossession took a cold-storage unit. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me. Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 3 weeks. This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment. Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item. Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go. Where the $350 goes: • Shop repairs and licensing: $95 • Working capital for the first month: $100 • Replacing a cold-storage unit: $155 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Keep going, Tareq. Hope you make a strong comeback. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Spanish Town!

    • Sending strength, Tareq. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Nashville.

      • Hang in there. Hope this works out for you. Greetings from Mumbai

        • Thinking of you and your family, Tareq. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Blessings.

          • Hang in there, Tareq. I hope things turn around soon. Sent it to 29 people at work.
