Tae-hoon is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in civil engineering at Seoul University, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,300. The registrar has said Tae-hoon can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Tae-hoon has a 3.8 average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Tae-hoon would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Tae-hoon isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Seoul University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
