Raúl was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in July. The oncology team at Cartagena Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Raúl is 53, worked as a nurse until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Cartagena Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $550 goes: • Transport to Cartagena Regional Medical Center: $220 • Scans and lab work: $230 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $100 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Elena
