Help Rebecca through 4 rounds of treatment for stage 3 ovarian cancer
Rebecca is facing stage 3 ovarian cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.
🇺🇸 United States909 views
Rebecca was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in June. The oncology team at Fresno Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in August. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Rebecca is 47, worked as a tailor until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Fresno Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $9,900 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,000
• Scans and lab work: $1,550
• Transport to Fresno Regional Medical Center: $810
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $580
• Household costs while unable to work: $960

Take care. Looking forward to the next update. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Fresno.
Take care. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Lexington.
