Rattapon was diagnosed with stomach cancer in February. The oncology team at Bangkok Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in April. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Rattapon is 42, worked as a bank teller until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Bangkok Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $1,950 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,600 • Transport to Bangkok Regional Medical Center: $250 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $100 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
