Help Rajeshwari through 6 rounds of treatment for colon cancer
6 rounds of treatment are planned at the Salem Oncology Institute; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.
🇮🇳 Tamil Nadu, India818 views
Rajeshwari was diagnosed with colon cancer in August. The oncology team at the Salem Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Rajeshwari is 38, worked as a primary school teacher until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Salem Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,400 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,050
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $115
• Scans and lab work: $235
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

keep going. Hope you get there. After 21 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything
Good luck. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. I'm in logistics myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Blessings.
sending love. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Blessings.
Thinking of you. Wishing Rajeshwari a smooth procedure and a full recovery
