Help Rahul finish a master's in public health at Baton Rouge Community College - $5,750 to go
A first-generation student, Rahul needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a master's in public health.

Rahul is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a master's in public health at Baton Rouge Community College, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $5,750.
The registrar has said Rahul can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Rahul has a 3.8 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Rahul would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Rahul isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $5,750 goes:
• Final term tuition: $2,500
• Exam and lab fees: $180
• Outstanding tuition balance: $3,070

thanks for sharing this. Looking forward to the next update. After 23 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Katowice.
Sending strength, Vikas. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Thinking of Baton Rouge.
Take care, Vikas. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Take care.
Praying for you, Vikas. Hope you get there. Sent it to 40 people at work.
