Don't let Javier's family go through summer without heating
A disconnection notice for heating arrived and Javier needs $400 before October.

The heating account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless I pay $400. I have never been late before June's medical emergency.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $95 first, which I don't have.
I live with three children under ten, and going through summer without heating isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $400 goes:
• Electricity arrears: $200
• Reconnection and late fees: $70
• Down payment on a payment plan: $130
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
- due date
- 2026-10-21
- bill type
- Utility arrears

Praying for you. This could happen to any of us. I went through something like this 12 years ago and strangers helped me out. All the best.
Thanks for sharing this, Javier. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My husband and I read this together. Blessings
stay strong. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Take care.
take care, Javier. Hope you get there. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. All the best.
thanks for sharing this. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Málaga
