Help Novi through 6 rounds of treatment for early-stage lung cancer
Novi is facing early-stage lung cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Novi was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in March. The oncology team at Surakarta Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in June. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Novi is 51, worked as a bus conductor until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Surakarta Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Scans and lab work: $210
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $790
• Household costs while unable to work: $330
• Transport to Surakarta Cancer Centre: $170

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Novi.
Sure. The biggest one is scans and lab work, $210. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks for asking.
