Help Nnamdi restart a phone repair counter in Lagos after a storm that collapsed the roof
A phone repair counter in Lagos needs help replacing a soldering station and testing tools after a storm that collapsed the roof.
🇳🇬 Nigeria520 views
For six years I have run a phone repair counter in Lagos. In July, a storm that collapsed the roof took a soldering station and testing tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $600 goes:
• Initial stock: replacement parts: $100
• Replacing a soldering station and testing tools: $400
• Working capital for the first month: $100
I hope life is good to you.

Thinking of you and your family, Nnamdi. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. I'm in construction myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Thinking of Lagos.
Hope it all works out, Nnamdi. Small businesses are the heart of Lagos. Hope you're open again soon.
