Help Nikolai move out of an unsafe apartment this Saturday
A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in Dnipro.

After the rent increase, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Dnipro, and the lease starts on Saturday. I have three kids, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for 3-4 helpers for about four hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the fourth floor walk-up and the new place has just one flight of stairs. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Hope things get better soon, Nikolai. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
Thinking of you, Nikolai. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Thinking of Dnipro
wishing you the best, Nikolai. I hope things turn around soon. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Love from Dar es Salaam
Sending love, Nikolai. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Greetings from Hanoi.
So sorry you're going through this, Nikolai. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
Your post was clear and honest. After 11 years in engineering I know how hard it is to ask for anything.
