Luke was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in August. The oncology team at the Toronto Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Luke is 42, worked as a bus conductor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Toronto Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $3,250
• Scans and lab work: $660
• Transport to the Toronto Oncology Institute: $850
