Neslihan is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a degree in social work at the Üsküdar Institute of Technology, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,000. The registrar has said Neslihan can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Neslihan has a 3.6 average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Neslihan would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Neslihan isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Üsküdar Institute of Technology bursar's office.
