Help me pay for ACL reconstruction at Saint Luke Hospital
After a benign brain tumor, Charlotte was cleared for ACL reconstruction, but the bill is more than we can manage.

In December I was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor. My surgeon at Saint Luke Hospital recommended ACL reconstruction, and I have been placed on the schedule for February. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $14,750, and after what our health plan will pay, I'm still $7,350 short.
Doctors at Saint Luke Hospital told me a benign brain tumor will get worse without ACL reconstruction. I work as a farm laborer, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $14,750 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a farm laborer have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
The recovery period is expected to take about 3 weeks. I'll not be able to look after the children alone during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $7,350 goes:
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $2,300
• Hospital stay (4 nights): $3,050
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $440
• Post-operative medication: $200
• Physiotherapy sessions: $890
• Travel and lodging for the family: $470
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

sending love, Charlotte. Hope the doctors have good news. I went through something like this 6 years ago and strangers helped me out
