Help me pay for a craniotomy at Swansea University Hospital
After a benign brain tumor, Hadley was cleared for a craniotomy, but the bill is more than we can manage.

In April I was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor. My surgeon at Swansea University Hospital recommended a craniotomy, and I have been placed on the schedule for June. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $8,750, and after what the government subsidy will pay, I'm still $4,350 short.
Doctors at Swansea University Hospital told me a benign brain tumor will get worse without a craniotomy. I work as a restaurant cook, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $8,750 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a restaurant cook have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
The recovery period is expected to take about 6 weeks. I'll not be able to climb stairs during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.

• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $1,950
• Hospital stay (3 nights): $1,350
• Post-operative medication: $390
• Travel and lodging for the family: $160
