Warm clothes needed: Cedar Refugee Centre families in Dublin
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at Cedar Refugee Centre.
🇮🇪 Dublin, Leinster, Ireland210 views
I coordinate donations at Cedar Refugee Centre in Dublin. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Dublin, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Cedar Refugee Centre on Wednesday between 11am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Cedar Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Praying for you. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Love from Kumasi.
Stay strong. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. God bless.
Sending good thoughts. I hope things turn around soon. Thinking of Dublin.
sending good thoughts, Fionnuala. Hope you get there. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.

Sending good thoughts, Fionnuala. This could happen to any of us.
You're not alone. Shared it with a few friends. It's not much but it's yours.
