School supplies and a laptop for Beau in El Paso
Beau won a place at El Paso Science Academy but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

I earned a place in Form 4 at El Paso Science Academy, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $800, which is more than we have.
I love biology and want to become a teacher. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $800 goes:
• Laptop: $410
• School uniform and shoes: $165
• Textbooks and workbooks: $160
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $65
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
