Help me finish a pharmacy diploma at Kanpur University - $450 to go
A first-generation student, Mim needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a pharmacy diploma.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a pharmacy diploma at Kanpur University, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a shop assistant to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $450.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a top-ten-percent average, and my department head has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Kanpur University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $450 goes:
• Exam and lab fees: $35
• Outstanding tuition balance: $370
• Textbooks and materials: $45
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Best of luck, Mim. I hope things turn around soon. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
Thinking of you and your family. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Take care.
