Help Margaret move out of an unsafe apartment this Saturday
Moving day on Saturday: we need anyone with a van and ideally a van.

After my landlord sold the building, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Embakasi, and the lease starts on Saturday. I have two children, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for anyone with a van for about four hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the third floor with no elevator and the new place has just one flight of stairs. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Glad we found this place.

hang in there, Margaret. Your post was clear and honest. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Thinking of Embakasi.
Good luck, Margaret. Looking forward to the next update. Please keep us posted. Blessings.
I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. We're a small family in Munich but we're thinking of you. Take care.
Sending love, Margaret. I hope things turn around soon. My neighbor in Takoradi donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Embakasi
