Help Kemi through 12 rounds of treatment for early-stage lung cancer
12 rounds of treatment are planned at Lagos Cancer Centre; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Kemi was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in August. The oncology team at Lagos Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Kemi is 30, worked as a primary school teacher until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Lagos Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,350 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $230
• Scans and lab work: $160
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $65
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $895
