Get Dmitry back on the road: my pickup repair fund
Dmitry drives for a living in Moscow, and a broken gearbox has stopped all income for 12 weeks.

I make my living with my pickup. 12 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $450. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $450 goes:
• gearbox replacement (parts): $390
• Towing and inspection: $15
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $45
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Dmitry.
It's all in the list in the story. gearbox replacement (parts) is the big one at $390, I'll post a receipt when it's paid.
Sending strength. Shared this with my family. All the best
Rooting for you. Hope you make a strong comeback. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Moscow.
Sending love. Your post was clear and honest. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Blessings.
