Corpus Christi
Julian was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in November. The oncology team at Corpus Christi Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in February. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Julian is 39, worked as a primary school teacher until November, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Corpus Christi Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $2,800 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $1,300 • Transport to Corpus Christi Regional Medical Center: $1,100 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $400 Thanks for being kind about this.
