Help Isabelle move out of an unsafe apartment this Saturday
A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in Los Angeles.
🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States1,156 views
After my landlord sold the building, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Los Angeles, and the lease starts on Saturday. I have a teenager and a toddler, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for four volunteers for about six hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the third floor with no elevator and the new place has an elevator. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
